Legend states that Cerberus was created by Varin, Ruler of Monsters, Titan of Corvus Corax from Tartarus magic during Varin’s exile. Her purpose of creation was to guard Varin from other beastly creatures in Tartarus while he slept. Cerberus was also made to withstand an incredible amount of heat, having been able to casually swim in the Acidic Lake – an overflow of the River Styx and Tartai, the two biggest rivers in Tartarus. Apparently Varin became attached to Cerberus and brought her with him back to rule the planet of Corvus Corax whenever his exile ended.

It is also rumored that Cerberus can grow up to 50 feet tall and 80 feet long. Ancient depictions illustrate her possessing three dog-like heads with a spiky tail and residing within the Corvus Corax Catacombs, where Varin would keep her. The few Coraxans who believe the myths of the Cerberus worry deeply about The Void being so close in proximity and have begged Obsidian and Nightshade to send a team of Black Gatekeepers  to locate and kill her before it’s too late. Though Obsidian originally shrugged off the ridiculous claims, he’s begun sensing an unusual gravitational shift below the surface of the planet.

Is this unique shift The Void’s continual spontaneous behavior? Or, worse, are the myths of the paranoid Coraxans true and the dark energy from The Void is seeping into a sleeping monster just below the surface?
