Ruler of the diamond planet, Nonpareil. Dark Jewel holds a history most prefer not to discuss. He received the name only a year into being a member of the Nonpareilan Army after a mission where 800 Nonpareilan Soldiers were sent to the deepest part of the biggest cave on the planet, Drir. Rumors have it that something on the mission had gone terribly wrong and only one Nonpareilan survived. He sluggingly walked out of the cave three weeks after the incident, right after everyone had concluded all 800 soldiers were dead. Not only was he alive, but his armor had somehow become infused with ancient forbidden crystals and diamonds. No one knew how he survived, nor did he ever speak of what happened in the depths of Drir. From then on he became known as the Dark Jewel.

Only two years following the incident, Dark Jewel’s strength, wisdom, and rare jewel magic promoted him quickly over his comrades and eventually proved him to be a worthy ruler of the rare planet. However, he’s unsure if his rise to power was out of respect or out of fear of his power. All he knew was, after the incident, one thing was for sure – he was a descendant of a Titan, and his fate led him to have his first encounter with Nonpareil’s Leviathan, Lexithus.
