Harlo keeps to herself. She lives alone, travels alone, enjoys the peace and quiet, and prefers to keep all encounters at the absolute most surface level they can be. While most of her time is spent on her home planet, Sandscape, she occasionally takes interplanetary bounties depending on the quality of the profile and payout. Only the most mysteriously networked people in what is known as the “Inner Circle” or “The Eye of The Seven” even know who Harlo is. Most prefer to keep their distance, so it works to her benefit.
Harlo just recently finished a bounty on Zenith before receiving an encrypted message from The Eye, telling her there was a failed attempt at a previous bounty from a group of other Sandscapians. When she annoyingly asked who the bounty was for, all they told her was “the roach of the desert,” which she assumed was not the actual profile name. She begrudgingly accepted, unamused, but looking forward to going back to her home planet, considering she hadn’t been there in almost a year. The moment she received the full profile scan of the bounty, her eyes widened, her chewing stopped, and her heart began to race. This was the highest profile bounty she’d ever received. It was titled, “CLASSIFIED: HIT #XXVI. KILLS: LXIV. REWARD: MD Ž. NAME: FOX, THE DESERT ASSASSIN.”
