Desdemona is a respected elderly woman on Olympus, considering she has been the Keeper of the Pantheon Library for over two decades. She knows the ins and outs of the almost 250,000 square foot maze that makes up the library. Olympian children spread rumors that Desdemona has memorized every word of every page of every book within the library, which would be probably over a billion words. Even she laughs at the rumors, but she does hold her ground whenever kids try to test her.

Desdemona maintains a healthy relationship with everyone on the golden planet, including one of her favored new Olympians – Vuurra. One day, she caught Vuurra reading a book upside down and was about to walk over to her to correct her whenever Icarus sat next to her and flipped the book upside down. Desdemona sees Icarus and Vuurra reading together at least once a week. She’s wondered if AK pays Icarus to babysit Vuurra, but knows Icarus’s heart enough to know that he enjoys it.
