Ruler of Sandscape, the powerful and wise Saphina was captured by Sand Pirates at the age of 12 and thrown into the Cave of a Thousand Snakes along with her parents. A Desert Cobra – the fiercest and most venomous snake of Sandscape – spit venom into Saphina’s eyes causing her to go blind, then bit her left wrist. However, when the Desert Cobra bit Saphina on the wrist, it sucked out the venom that was spit into her eyes, allowing her to live but remain blind. Tragically, Saphina’s mother was killed by the venomous Sand Moccasins and Saphina’s father was suffocated and eaten by the Black Anaconda – the largest snake on Sandscape, which ranges anywhere from 45-88 feet in length.

The Desert Cobra not only protected Saphina from the other hundreds of snakes, but protected her from seeing the gruesome death of her parents. Ever since, Saphina has become one of the deadliest and fiercest Supernovas in The Seven, with her Desert Cobra never leaving her side. Even Viper, the last descendant of Medusa and Second In Command on Sandscape, has no power over Saphina because of her lack of eyesight, making Saphina and Viper a powerful duo.
