Scorpio holds a mysterious past, present, and future. Several Sandscapians have had an encounter with him and not even known it. Many sand beasts have been slain by him and not understood how they were outmatched to begin with. Several storms have made attempts to destroy him, not knowing that he gains power when he’s in the eye of the storm. 

Scorpio was the original captain of The Scorpion before he felt the urge to venture alone on the quest to find the Head of Medusa. The last he was seen by his comrades was upon entering Viper’s Lair – a descendant of Medusa who practiced the ways of her ancestor in creating caves of illusion. Viper’s Lair was rumored to play tricks on the mind, where she would then take her trapped victims and consume them or turn them to stone. That is, if their minds weren’t already melted before she reached them.

Scorpio eagerly ventured into the lair blindfolded. Amazingly, he found his way through the illusion without even a sign of Viper. All he was able to find was a map – a map to the real lair of Medusa – a prized possession wanted by everyone in the galaxy. His journey was just unfolding.
