Sèvas is one of the only Diamond Xpondos (DX) on Nonpareil, sneaking around the luxury planet to suck out the life of each diamond consumer. The Diamond Xpondos is a Nonpareilan cult notorious for torturing those who possess large amounts of diamond energy and taking it for themselves in order to strengthen their power. There exists several accounts of the DXs murdering diamond consumers, seemingly with little to no emotions.

Xena tasked the Diamond Commander to lead some of the highest-ranking Diamond Warriors, including Starfire, in a hunt for the DX cult.
