Theo grew up on SubZero with his not-so-wealthy SubZeran parents. He was adopted at a young age and felt an urge to help provide his family with more than what they were used to – trading fur and barely scraping by. He always had dreams of becoming a pilot for his biggest inspiration, Snow King, ever since he was a young child, and he’d hoped to one day train in the Olympian Flight Academy, but knew he couldn’t afford it. 

When he was 15 years old, Theo wrote a letter to the Ice Palace, stating he had aspirations of becoming “the best pilot in all of SubZero” and help grow the SubZero Flight Academy, considering it was much smaller and less-resourced than Olympus’s. Somehow, the letter ended up in the hands of the Second In Command, Ghost, who had an extremely large heart for her people. She immediately traveled to Theo’s house, greeted his family, and told them she wanted to personally pay Theo’s way through the Olympian Flight Academy to come back and join the SubZero Flight Crew as a pilot. Overwhelmed with joy and tears of happiness, they thankfully accepted her offer and sent Theo on his dream journey.

Theo trained in the Olympian Flight Academy for seven years, becoming close friends with another pilot from Olympus, Persephone. After his course was complete, he bittersweetly left Persephone, returned to SubZero, put on his pilot uniform, and The Snow King personally pinned the Ice Pilot pin directly in the middle of his uniform. Theo felt the most himself he’d felt in his entire life.
