Zinthoros (pronounced “zin-thore-ose”) is rumored to live isolated in the Ice Caps, feasting on any form of life that happens to move within a mile of it. The illustrations portray the Zinthoros reaching about 70-80 feet long and 30 feet tall. It is said to be able to withstand unbearably low temperatures, powerfully exert dagger-like icicles from its tail, and run up to an incredible 60 miles per hour. The Zinthoros is by far the most respected and feared creature in all of SubZero, even by other powerful creatures that inhabit the untouched parts of the planet.

Legend states the Zinthoros is able to completely trap its victims in mounds of ice before eating them. Some victims have been noted to experience hypothermia within minutes of being trapped. Either way – death by the Zinthoros is undeniably excruciating.
