By far the most remarkably beautiful planet of The Seven, Nonpareil’s surface is dangerously seductive and covered almost entirely in raw diamonds. The inhabitants have been known to lose their minds to the sheer idea of their wealth, creating an ongoing civil war between the possessed and the lucid. At what is known as “The Lost Era” — the lowest moral point in Nonpareilan history — it is transcribed that some citizens of Nonpareil sold their children as slaves to other planets so they could multiply their fortunes on the diamond planet. Dark Jewel spent the majority of his first few years as Planet Ruler working to add a cloudy atmospheric layer to the planet in order to block out some of the Sun’s rays. He then discovered that, without the sparkle of the jewels, the population was able to have moments of clarity and sanity, where they could return to a sense of normalcy. Xena, the Diamond Princess spearheaded the rescue plan after learning about the darkness which was consuming much of the planet’s inhabitants. While she was convinced it was solely the diamonds, Dark Jewel resorted to other suspicions about its ancient magic. Lexithus, the Diamond Dragon is written in Creatures of the Galaxy to be the Leviathan of the planet, and is rumored to live in the deepest cave, Drir, guarding some of the most powerful jewels in all of The Seven.
